Bore Place is a 500-acre estate, with beautiful grounds, including a kitchen garden, ancient woodlands and a wide selection of characterful and comfortable accommodation. It is a beautiful and historic venue with an environmentally-friendly approach. The estate runs as a charity, specialising in regenerative farming and land management, and is committed to restoring biodiversity to the area as well as providing a beautiful setting for people to connect with nature.

You will be restored with healthy, nourishing food and renewed by energising yoga flow classes as well calming and deeper relaxation practices such as yin & Restorative Yoga, meditation sessions, Yoga Nidra and Pranayama exploration.

This is a weekend dedicated to recharging and resetting, so there will be lots of time and space within the schedule for resting, reading, journaling, chatting or just enjoying the beautiful surroundings and being away from the hectic pace of daily life.
Main Accommodation: The Old Stable
The 19th century Old Stable is situated in the middle of the Bore Place Estate,
surrounded by a beautiful courtyard garden, which included fruit trees and a water feature in front of the house,
as well as a table for outside dining and a pizza oven.
There are a total of 11 bedrooms in the Old Stable and 4 bathrooms (which are shared),
a large living room with log burner, dining room & separate kitchen.

The rooms in the Old Stable are bright and comfortable and have been recently refurbished.
There is a small number of single rooms available, there are twin- and triple rooms.
All rooms share a bathroom ( 2-3 rooms a bathroom).
There’s plenty of communal space to find a place to read, lounge around, rest & relax.

All the yoga and meditation practices will be held in the wellness barn at the estate. It is a beautiful and comfortable space and feels light and airy.
Meet your Retreat Hosts / Teachers
Isis du Jour
Isis is a passionate and experienced yoga teacher based in West Sussex. In 2017, she moved to the UK with her husband & son from Amsterdam. Isis is certified in teaching Vinyasa, Yin / Restorative, Prenatal Yoga, Yogaidra, Paddle-boarding & SUP Yoga and she is also a Yoga Teacher Trainer and Continuing Yoga Education Provider. Her yoga journey kicked off after her first trip to India in 2007 and she is teaching yoga for over
a decade. Isis offers weekly studio classes, Paddleboarding & SUP yoga sessions, 1-1 private sessions, corporate events & retreats.
Kate Anderson
Kate worked for 15 years in corporate communication, as a film producer at an internationally renowned London corporate production company. During this time she developed a daily yoga practice as a counter to the physical and mental demands of her job. After taking time out to become a mum to 3 kids, Kate trained to teach yoga in 2013 and has been working as a full-time yoga teacher since 2016. Kate now teaches a diverse range of classes, from corporate clients in Sussex and London, to running and managing her own open classes, 1-1 private sessions, workshops & retreats.
Bookings & Payments
A non-refundable deposit of £200 will hold your space for our upcoming retreat, with the balance due 8 weeks before the retreat.
Payments can be made by bank transfer, details will be in your booking confirmation.

Delicious, home-cooked plant based/vegan food (breakfast smoothies, brunch, afternoon tea and dinner & snacks, will be served daily alongside unlimited herbal teas and coffee)
Twice daily Yoga practice - energising, dynamic Vinyasa Flow Yoga, Yin / Restorative yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditations & Pranayama.

We have a limited amount of day passes available for our retreat on Saturday 1st February 2025 (full day)
Day-pass for Yoga Classes & Food (non-residential)*
£140 (Early Bird £129 for bookings before 1st October 2024)
* Day passes will give you entry to visit our retreat without staying overnight, it is the perfect option for a small getaway.
The price for the day passes includes 2 yoga sessions, 1 yoga Nidra session, goodie bag, all food, tea & snacks served on the day.
Terms & Conditions
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your space: £200 for Full Weekend Guests | £60 for Day Passes.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Balance payment will need to be paid in full 2 months in advance.
Once payments are made, they are non-refundable if you cancel for any reason, including health & Covid. Your booking may be transferred to a friend or family member.
Please consider taking out a travel insurance before booking, individual insurance for a single trip can be as little as £6.00 for over £3500 of cover.
